What We Do
CaesarTheDay® helps Americans and Canadians in their 50s and 60s turn "someday we'll retire in Italy" into an actual plan, without the chaos, confusion or financial freefall.
We turn scattered, contradictory advice into a sequence of decisions: visas, taxes, money, choosing your town, housing and the first months on the ground. Guides, books, planning tools and flat-fee consulting, from someone making the same move.
Why It Exists
I'm Caesar Sedek. I was born in Poland, came to the U.S. as a teenager, and have lived and worked in London, Paris, Rome, Amsterdam and Hong Kong. By day I'm a cybersecurity executive. My job is spotting risk before it becomes expensive.
When my wife Kamila and I started planning our own move to Italy, I found that most advice was scattered, outdated or written by people selling a fantasy. So I built a structured approach that could survive real bureaucracy, not just social-media optimism. That became a consulting framework, two books and the tools on this site.
We're moving in 2030, and I'm documenting the whole thing in public: the spreadsheets, the scouting trips, the mistakes. You get the method while I'm using it.
