Why CaesarTheDay® Exists
Because someday needs a sequence.
The Sedek family, planning the move for 2030
Most people planning a move to Italy drown in opinion threads, outdated blog posts and contradictory advice. I built CaesarTheDay® while planning my own family's relocation, because the process should feel structured, not scattered.
I'm moving my family to Italy because ordinary life there works the way we want ours to: groceries on foot, a doctor in town, a train instead of a second car. Not the vacation version. The Tuesday-in-February version.
Italy rewards planning and punishes improvisation. Get the region, the timeline and the paperwork in the right order and the move is manageable. Skip them and it gets expensive.
Built by Caesar Sedek, a dual U.S.–Polish expat who has lived in Hong Kong, Paris, Amsterdam, London and Rome, and who now helps other people plan their moves abroad.

A System Designed for Real Relocation, Not Wishful Thinking
Every move runs on five phases. The difference between chaos and a plan is doing them in order.
1. Strategy (2–5 years out): Why Italy, which visa path, and what your income looks like on both sides of the Atlantic. Start here
2. Design (12–24 months out): Region and town shortlist, scouting trips, money and tax structure. Read more
3. Execution (6–12 months out): Housing, documents, apostilles and the consulate appointment. Read more
4. Departure (the final 90 days): Selling, shipping, closing accounts and leaving well. Read more
5. Landing (the first months in Italy): Permesso, residency at the comune, a doctor, a bank, a phone. Read more
And Tuesday becomes ordinary.
