This isn’t a vacation package. This is the scaffolding for one of the biggest decisions of your life. We start with a planning call to lock down your priorities — whether that’s housing options, healthcare access, reliable internet, or how far you have to walk for a cappuccino. From there, I’ll design a 7–10 day itinerary (printable if you prefer paper in your pocket) that takes you beyond tourist squares. You’ll see the neighborhoods you might actually live in, test the grocery stores, figure out where the post office hides, and walk the routes you’d use every day. I’ll line up introductions where possible — realtors who understand expats, tax advisors who won’t talk in riddles, or locals who know which plumbers actually show up on time. Alongside the itinerary, you’ll use a Scouting Scorecard to evaluate each town or region in real terms: cost, livability, infrastructure, and whether you could picture yourself there when the honeymoon phase wears off. Once you’re back, we’ll do a follow-up call to unpack your notes, refine what you’ve learned, and turn your scouting trip into a clear action plan instead of a messy pile of impressions.
